Slightly idealized sketch of my collegue Gia
Quick Old Master study from Velasquez.
Don't ask me why. Turned out kind of like a
cross between Cruella Deville
and the Joker doing kabuki theater
or something.
Done solely for the fun of again trying to replicate painter tools in photoshop; in this case, impasto.
I saw someone on the sijun forums do a pic of Raistlin Majere, and it provoked the geek in me to new extremes. I had to do one too.
Invented sketch, but inspired by photos from G[from Baghdad]'s fotoblog.
