I don't even know, Stevens Creek is a really long commercial stretch and while we were stopped at a light I got the idea to try and paint it later.
It's the kind of thing I should do more of, but it doesn't come easy to me. I need to spend more time sitting outside and sketching, but lately I've been unable to resist the lure of the internet.
What are you doing on the net so much? I spend a lot of time on it too, but it's primarily to talk to people who share my interests and such. Artists and all-around cool people (like pawpad and yourself). If I had such people to spend time with in person I don't think I'd spend nearly as much time on-line.
Now for something fun. Go to this link, click on the "AERIAL PHOTO" link in the upper-left, and zoom in closer. It's a satellite photo of the place where Stevens Creek Blvd and Miller Ave / N Wolfe Rd intersect. You know, some time when I was standing there years ago I believe I must have gotten the idea for "Miller Wolf", because it was at that time and place that I created the character. In fact I'm pretty positive I did get the idea there.
