I'm curious about the people you put in your drawings. Are they based on actual people or are they your creations? I can't get myself to enjoy drawing people no matter how hard I try.

Unless it's Sarah, one of my featured co-workers, or a sketch from the train, it's an invented figure. But I really enjoy drawing people, whether from life or trying to make them up, though trying to get a likeness from a photo can be kind of tedious... why, are you getting discouraged about life drawing? Or do you just want to be more versatile regarding your commissions

No, life drawing is something I do enjoy. I'd just like to vary my subjects a bit, when I do art for fun. I feel kind of silly drawing anthros all the time. But it's hard to enjoy drawing people, creating them like I would a character.

Well, do what you enjoy is my advice. That's all I'm doing here, it's not like I'm getting paid for this.

Maybe if you're embarrased about drawing anthros, crop the picture so the head of a character goes out of frame and call it a human ;)

Yeah, and I'll have to crop out the tail too! ;) Hehe.
